The WDAY Talent Parade came to the Park Theater in Park Rapids Minnesota on February 23, 1949 for a live broadcast.
This is the program finale, with each contestant reprising a few minutes of their act for the “Applause Meter”. Host Ken Kennedy then interviews the winner and explains how the talent competition will play out in other communities over the next few weeks.
Phillips 66 was a major sponsor of the program, which ran for a number of years on WDAY.
